To mark the documentary's premiere, we also decided to revisit some of Matthew Perry's other roles. After all, many of us grew up watching his movies and TV shows. Here are some of his most memorable performances!

The Whole Nine Yards
One of Matthew Perry's best-known comedies, in which he stars alongside Bruce Willis.
Perry plays Nicholas Oseransky, an ordinary dentist whose already complicated life spirals completely out of control when he meets his new neighbor. The man turns out to be Jimmy the Tulip, a former contract killer with a substantial bounty on his head.
Instead of keeping his distance from his dangerous neighbor, Nicholas gets caught up in a criminal adventure full of deception, unexpected allies, and constant attempts to stay alive.

Fools Rush In
A romantic comedy starring Matthew Perry and Salma Hayek, in which a chance encounter completely changes the plans of two very different people.
Alex Whitman travels to Las Vegas for work and meets Isabel Fuentes. After spending a night together, they go their separate ways, expecting never to see each other again. But three months later, Isabel returns with unexpected news: she's pregnant.
Alex decides to marry Isabel, even though he barely knows her. Now the couple must navigate not only their feelings for each other but also their cultural differences and family traditions.
17 Again
Mike O'Donnell was once a promising basketball player but gave up his hopes of pursuing a sporting career for his family. Twenty years later, his marriage is falling apart, his children don't want to talk to him, and his job brings him no satisfaction.
One day, Mike gets the chance to become seventeen again and correct the mistakes of his past. However, he soon discovers that getting his youth back is much easier than figuring out his life.
In this comedy, Matthew Perry and Zac Efron play the same character at different ages: Perry portrays the adult Mike O'Donnell, while Efron plays his seventeen-year-old self.

Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip
After Friends ended, Matthew Perry landed one of the leading roles in a series by Aaron Sorkin, best known as the creator of The West Wing.
The story takes place behind the scenes of a popular comedy TV show that has fallen on hard times. To save the program, the network brings back two former employees: head writer Matt Albie, played by Perry, and producer Danny Tripp, played by Bradley Whitford.
The two must restore the show's former popularity while dealing with network demands, conflicts within the team, and their own personal problems.
The Ron Clark Story
One of Matthew Perry's most serious roles, which earned him Emmy and Golden Globe nominations.
The film is based on the true story of schoolteacher Ron Clark, who leaves his quiet life in a small town and moves to New York City. There, he takes a job at a school in Harlem and takes charge of a class that other teachers have struggled to handle.
Using unconventional teaching methods, Clark tries to connect with each student and show the children that they're capable of much more than they believe.
