Ninja music: Spring vibes!

news

Let's get ready for the first warm days with the ninjas!

We've collected the most exciting albums and singles that have already been released in 2025. They're perfect for updating your playlist or becoming a reliable companion during a walk or workout. There's a new release by the former BLACKPINK singer, chill music by Canadian sound producer Nav, Lady Gaga, who we couldn't leave out, and much more!

If you've forgotten something, leave a comment!

What albums are worth listening to?

JENNIE — Ruby

The first solo album by South Korean vocalist Kim Jiayeon after leaving BLACKPINK.

This is her way of “introducing herself to the world for the first time”, so the tracks are recorded mostly in English. Tune in to a powerful pop wave and bright features featuring Childish Gambino, Dua Lipa, Doechii, and other popular artists.

We're sure this release will stay in your playlist for a long time!

Playboi Carti — Music

One of the most anticipated releases of early 2025. The third studio album by the American rapper is a classic from Carti: powerful raps and energetic beats. The album features guest appearances by Future, Travis Scott, Lil Uzi Vert, Skepta, Kendrick Lamar, and The Weeknd.

All tracks from the album have already hit the top of the Billboard Hot 100!

Nav — OMW2 Rexdale

And now let's move on to the album, which already features Playboi Carti as a guest.

Initially, Canadian Nav started his career as a sound producer and helped to record such hit tracks as “Back 2 Back” (Drake) and “Beibs In The Trap” (Travis Scott). Then he started his solo career and went viral after the release of ASTROWORLD.

On the new album, you can hear soft and melodic R&B, reflecting the atmosphere of his home neighborhood in Toronto. In addition to Playboi Carti, Metro Boomin and Don Toliver can be found on the features.

Tate McRae — So Close to What

“An introspective exploration of self-discovery, love, and finding balance in uncertain times” is how Canadian pop singer Tate McRae describes her third album. Shortly after its release, the album reached number 20 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and number 14 on the UK Singles Chart.

This album does not take by the number of some diverse features, it takes by a pleasant and melodic sound. These songs are perfect for a walk to relax after a hard day, or as background music during intense work.

Lady Gaga — Mayhem

Lady Gaga has returned to her roots with the provocative style that brought her worldwide fame. The singles “Die With a Smile”, “Disease” and “Abracadabra” have already become hits, and now it's time to appreciate the album in its entirety.

Selena Gomez & Benny Blanco — I Said I Love You First

A gentle album created together with sound producer Benny Blanco. In it, the singer explores the themes of love, betrayal and second chances. An album that is perfect for romantic spring evenings.

The Weeknd — Hurry Up Tomorrow

Weekend continues to delight fans with some incredible performance. He also decided to take the promo to a new level: expect a movie based on this album in May. The style of the new album is classic for a Canadian: nice music and melodic vocals.

And a huge number of S-class artists on the features — Travis Scott, Florence + The Machine, Lana Del Rey, Anitta and others.

What about singles?

Stromae, Pomme — Ma Meilleure Ennemie

Despite the fact that this track was released last year, we found a reason to add it to our spring selection. It's all thanks to the music video that RIOT recently shared with the fans of the Arkane series.

This composition immerses the listener in a complex and contradictory relationship where love borders on destruction and is at the same time a source of pain and struggle. By the way, if for some reason you haven't watched the show yet, we recommend that you do so as soon as possible.

And no, you don't need to play games to understand the plot.

Dua Lipa, Troye Sivan — Physical

It's the perfect recipe for breathing new life into an old composition. We take a track that is loved by many and dilute it with some unusual element: for example, the male vocals of a popular actor and singer.

And the track hits the charts again: everything ingenious is simple!

St. Vincent — DOA

A track written for the movie “Death of a Unicorn” with Jenna Ortega. It perfectly captures the atmosphere of the crazy scenario and the light confusion that can be seen on the screen.

Travis Scott — 4x4

Travis Scott's first release in 2025, which managed to climb to number one on Billboard. And, in our opinion, it deserves a place in your playlist.

Bonus

Kendrick Lamar, SZA — Luther, Kendrick Lammar — Not Like Us

These tracks were released at the end of 2024, but they are so vibe that they can easily fit into a spring playlist. In fact, the number of listens on streaming services confirms our theory.

And Kendrick's latest live from the Super Bowl, of course:
